(1) Network Provider

Inner Strength Counseling is an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice, Cigna, United Healthcare/Optum, and Humana. Self-pay clients are also accepted. You are strongly encouraged to contact your insurance carrier before your session to understand any co-payments, co-insurance or costs for which you may be responsible. Services may be covered in full or part by your plan. You may check your coverage bill by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and asking the following questions:

         What are my mental health benefits?

         What are my co-pay and co-insurance amounts ( if any)?

         What is my deductible and has it been met?

         How many sessions per year does my insurance cover?

         What monetary amount is covered per session?

         Do I need a prior authorization from my primary care physician?

(2) Out-Of- Network Provider

If you have insurance with another company, Inner Strength Counseling can provide a statement to submit for possible partial reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.

(3) Out-Of-Pocket Fees 

The fee for a regular 60-minute session is between $120-$140. Payment is due at the time of service by cash, check, or credit card. If payment is not received by the 30th of the month, it will automatically be charged. 

 

Scheduling

At this time, Inner Strength Counseling office hours are Fridays from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.  Your first session will consist of an intake/assessment and will take 60 minutes. Most counseling sessions are scheduled on an ongoing weekly or bi-weekly basis unless you require additional or reduced sessions.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your session with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full session fee. Please be aware that this fee will not be covered by your insurance carrier.
